It’s September and the Illuminations will light up the skies once again! That’s why this month we are including a tour of the famous light show as well as your monthly coach excursion; which this month is to the Lake District. We’ll head to Lakeside, where we will catch one of the famous steamers across Windermere and head to Bowness. Here you can peruse the quirky shops, enjoy the picturesque landscape and enjoy a traditional Lakes Ice cream, but watch out for those pesky swans! There will also be an option to board the steam train from Haverthwaite Station to Lakeside before hopping on the steamer for a small additional charge.
